conversion to git
Hi,
maybe I should say some words why I opposed against converting packages from svn to git :

Eric (thanks !) at that time helped me to solve that problem: git-buildpackage just
does not use pristine-tar, despite having passed that explicite option, when an
orig tarball is present in the build-directory. That is, for instance, when you run
git-buildpackage twice in a row. It is probably my fault that I didn't spend some
weeks to read tons of documentation first. And maybe all this complecity is really
needed for packages like ocaml where you have to do heavy patching and branching.
For relatively simple packages, like hevea, this is an overkill. I do not recall
how much time I lost on my last attempt with git but it certainly was too much.
I really appreciate it when I can rebuild the packages I care for, without having
to fight against the tools.
