Just some additions from a translator:
If you want to translate the projects webpage, please contact
the translation coordinator(s) for your language first
(See <http://www.debian.org/devel/website/translation_coordinators>)
to avoid duplicated work. They should also be able to give you some
hints on translating.

(I'm already working on the German translation.)
