Hi, I believe that Riley Baird has the technical skills needed to maintain Debian packages. I support his application to become a Debian maintainer, because Riley maintains some packages and has a very good knowledge about this. In addition, Riley is an active participant in debian-legal, helping the people with good opinions about copyright questions. IMHO, this knowledge is very important in packaging activity. I have sponsored pyelliptic and signify-openbsd for him. So, I would like to see Riley as Debian Maintainer because I believe that he will make a great job.
