Hi! This is my declaration of intent to become a Debian Maintainer <URL:http://wiki.debian.org/DebianMaintainer>. I have read the Social Contract, Debian Free Software Guidelines and Debian Machine Usage Policy and agree with all of them. Currently, I maintain the ruby-elasticsearch package as well as many build and test dependencies that were required for this package to be built and tested in Debian. I'm also working on packaging up dependencies for some fairly large Java libraries. <URL:https://udd.debian.org/dmd.cgi?email=tpot%40hp.com> I have been responsible for making and submitting fixes for several CVEs affecting the elasticsearch package.
