Thanks for your attention. well, accept him, please. Chris is one of the co-founders of Debian and if there was a "Debian Director", then this would probably be him. Chris is both technical and strategically interested in Debian, wants to do good for our community, and the world at large. I very much hope, and kind of expect, to have Chris developing for full DDship over the upcoming months/years. What one does not see discussed too frequently, with Debian and its images becoming steadily more accepted for cloud usage, we will also see more applications brought to Debian. And whenever there are free components to it, there is speaking little against offering them through the official Debian channels. So, we really want to have Chris and his colleagues with us, as maintainers now and if one or two also become DDs, then this would be of tremendous benefit for Debian and the Open Source community at large. Well, what I wrote for Dan mostly applies also for Chris. Best, Steffen
