Hello,

With this letter, I declare my intention to become a Debian Maintainer.

I have read the Social Contract and the Debian Free Software Guidelines,
as well as the Debian Machine Usage Policy.  I agree with their phrasing
in letter and in intent.

In years past, I worked on ATLAS (Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra
Software) and RIB (Repository in a Box) for http://icl.cs.utk.edu/.

Currently, I write/maintain/support software packages involving the
R statistical language: brew, canvas, rApache, Cairo, and RMySQL so far.
My intention is to bring these packages into the Debian fold and provide
support for additional R related packages as needed.
