I am happy to advocate Mats as well.

I have sponsored uploads of nd, netpipes, w9wm and windowlab prepared by
him. I have seen his packaging skills improve consistently since last
year, and his understanding of other Debian procedures is good.

Mats has gone beyond the call of duty to fix upstream problems in
packages he maintains, and has been receptive to the idea of working on
RC bugs in other packages to help Debian as a whole. These are
qualities we should encourage in all developers.

Regards,
