Well, the issue was breaking a package that depends too much in
xscreensaver, but only in parts of xscreensaver so the split of the
packages made this break and was solved updating dependencies, not a big
deal. I doubt that any sponsor would catch an issue like this...
Starting by the fact that xscreensaver worked exactly as expected and we
only added features...

Sorry, I believe this went out of proportion, there was only one issue
not a bunch of them...
