I think this should really be through the Debian Pure Blends, it is
about time we had a few blends for multimedia. It is very easy to
define them, the hard part is to choose which packages to include.
Doing the metapackages by hand will probably be a lot of wasted time
and energy.

Having the metapackages ready will certainly help with this.

For this it is a good idea to keep your progress visible, and inform
about it periodically, naybe someone will be tempted to go and help if
you do that!
