Yes, at this stage merging the  changes and uploading our new packages
to Debian is one the first things to do, but I'd like to look a little
bit more forward even from now, having a  clear picture of the process
we should follow. Anyhow, okay, let's proceed one step at time..

To upload DeMuDi  packages which are  not included in Debian  wherever
this is feasible and useful, I'd need somebody to sponsor me, is there
some developer of the debian-multimedia project who could do this?

Regarding all  the  other issues,  as  guidelines for   Custom  Debian
Distributions, I understand that  setting a dedicated mailing  list is
somewhat overkill, so I'll    rather post on debian-devel,  using  the
[custom] tag, as suggested in
