I have checked it on my server and looks like it works
- apache shows 2 days old Modified: instead of current.

no problem - when you complained, I found out that my server is also not
configured to provide cacheable content here. I have changed it to do so.
Regardless of requiring indexability of mirror content, the "please ensure"
section could be enhanced by adding +TrackModified to provide cacheable
content (mirrors should benefit of this).
