Hi Joerg, as Mitry already pointed out, there is some need to use the script also for projects other than Debian. We (ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de / ftp2.de.debian.org) have been using ftpsync from the start and also use adapted versions for other projects. I updated all versions to use the code 80486 and we'll see what happens.
