We had a couple of rsync failures recently:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 phil phil 34071 Jul 10 10:57 ftpsync.log.6.gz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 phil phil 5947 Jul 10 22:27 ftpsync.log.5.gz <--- failed
-rw-rw-r-- 1 phil phil 23594 Jul 11 10:26 ftpsync.log.4.gz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 phil phil 11197 Jul 11 22:39 ftpsync.log.3.gz <--- failed
-rw-rw-r-- 1 phil phil 26691 Jul 13 16:24 ftpsync.log.2.gz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 phil phil 57150 Jul 13 16:45 ftpsync.log.1.gz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 phil phil 275454 Jul 13 23:33 ftpsync.log.0
I'd imagine it's down to that.
rsyncs from syncproxy.eu.debian.org have been fairly unreliable
recently -- I'm assuming that the hardware issue has been resolved,
as I'm no longer seeing significant packet loss.
Could the fact that I'm running rsync 3.0.2 be a factor?
Cheers, Phil.
