Luck is with you as I've done all your homework for you .. since I had
to do the same thing a few weeks ago :-)
Shopping list you want is:
AC to DC powersupply, 12V DC 5AMP ... this'll give you a nice 60watt
power supply with more than enough juice for a PCI board and big
harddisk, plus they are cheap and easily found in most decent
electronics shops. It got mine from here :
http://www.jaycar.co.nz/productView.asp?ID=GH1379&CATID=&keywords=12v+dc&SPECIAL=&form=KEYWORD&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=
Then get your KPPX-3P connector from Mouser.com :
http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Ntt=806-KPPX-3P
If you are states side then you are lucky shipping is cheap, if you
are outside the states then it costs an f'ing furtune! :-)
But I can help you out if you like .. I have 1 spare connector left
over from when I made my own PSU for the Qube2, shipping would be from
New Zealand.
Instructions on how to assemble the connector are here :
http://www.watt-power.co.uk/catalogue/images/kpp_4p.pdf
It's REALLY fiddly, lost of little bits to click together .. fun! :-)
And finally .. where to solder the wires to the pins .. go look here:
http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wb4kdi/PC/Cobalt/
And that should keep you occupied for a while! :-)
Regards!
