That should work. What version of CoLo are you using? Are you sure
you used the version from the web page, i.e.
http://people.debian.org/~ths/d-i/mipsel/images/daily/cobalt/netboot-2.6/vmlinux.gz

The tar file contains everything that netboot-2.6 does. It's just
easier for downloading.
