Here is what I see on serial when attempting the ssh install and the
serial install.  You'll note that this is using the nfsroot found at
http://people.debian.org/~ths/d-i/mipsel/images/daily/cobalt/  I get the
same then when using the nfsroot from your site.

The Sarge install seems to work just fine (the install is currently
running, having made it past disk partitioning it is now downloading and
verifying packages).  For the sarge install I used the image found here
http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/sarge/main/installer-mipsel/current/images/cobalt/
