RE: kernel newer than 2.6.17 on qube

Still Having problmes with mounting NFS, I think...
The 'target system' is a RaQ2
I have Debian Sarge loaded on the target (trying for Etch)
The dhcp/nfs 'server' is a CacheRaQ2 with Debian Sarge.

When I boot the target normally (Sarge) and then mount the nfs-servers
/nfsroot
The following syslog events are written to the dhcp/nfs server syslog

04:00:58 debi dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:10:e0:00:c8:20 via eth1
04:00:58 debi dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.149 to 00:10:e0:00:c8:20 via
eth1
04:01:01 debi dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.0.149 (192.168.0.55) from
00:10:e0:00:c8:20 via eth1
04:01:01 debi dhcpd: DHCPACK on 192.168.0.149 to 00:10:e0:00:c8:20 via
eth1
---
Now tried to mount the servers /nfsroot on the target
 Using: mount -t nfs -o nolock 192.168.0.55:/nfsroot
---
04:02:45 debi mountd[634]: NFS mount of /nfsroot attempted from

Mount was accomplished here as I could read the files on the target

-- The 'tail -f' syslog NFS logs stopped here.
It looks like it took some time (1 minute 5 seconds)
  complete the process on the nfs server
Although the target had mounted the nfs share in 40 seconds.

So, I wonder if this much time may cause a timeout when I 'net boot' the
target.
'net-booting' must read the share as it puts up the menu, but when I
select
  "BOOT SELECTION" and select "Network NFS"
This happens:

The target console output stops at;
net: interface up
address     192.168.0.149
netmask     255.255.255.0
gateway     192.168.0.55
name server 192.168.0.55
1> lcd 'Booting...' {ip-address}
1> nfs {dhcp-next-server} {dhcp-root-path} {dhcp-boot-file}
no response
script aborted <1>

The syslog file on the server looks like;
Not sure why two DHCP sequences, unless when defaul.colo loads there
Is another dhcp swequence initiates...
