If you have too much spare time ;-), I would be interested in whether a
DECstation 3100 even works with today's kernels. None of the developers
I know of has one in working condition, so the kernels have not been
tested on them for a long time. For use as a buildd or alike a 3100
is way too slow.
What kind of 5000 series machine do you have? BTW, as you write
"Project Athena and OSF relics", do you perhaps have hardware
documentation about the ISDN/audio implementation in the Personal
DECstation series and about the MAGMA parallel interface card,
not to forget the PX- and PXG-graphics options?
