fired the last one off alittle too soon, should also note that: sash: boot -f bootp(): root=/dev/ram0 Unable to load bootp():: "bootp():" is not a valid file to boot this is the same message I've been seing right along. Is there any way to verify that the whole file is being received on the Indy? As I remember, suns show bits|bytes received while the transfer is taking place, there doesn't seem to be a similar facility on the Indy. -Jon
