fired the last one off alittle too soon,

should also note that:

sash: boot -f bootp(): root=/dev/ram0
Unable to load bootp():: "bootp():" is not a valid file to boot

this is the same message I've been seing right along.  Is there any
way to verify that the whole file is being received on the Indy?

As I remember, suns show bits|bytes received while the transfer is
taking place, there doesn't seem to be a similar facility on the Indy.
