Kernels work ok - Basic userspace utils also
Crosscompiling debian packages ? I only heard of people trying and
forgetting it :)

Hmmm - there are some mips specials afaik - But i am no expert in that - Had
no time to understand binutils fully.

Nope - Not debian related - The most importent linux-mips list
