Re: Package libburn-1.4.2.pl01.tar.gz as 1.4.2-2 or as 1.4.2.pl01-1 ?

Is there a reason known, why the version used by uscan should not just stay "1.4.2.pl01" ?

I don't think there are any technical reasons. "1.4.2.pl01" is a valid version number, and in fact we already had similar libburn versions in the archive:

$ zgrep ^l /usr/share/doc/libburn4/changelog.Debian.gz | grep -o '(.*pl.*)' | tr -d '()'
1.1.0.pl01-1
1.0.6.pl00-2
1.0.6.pl00-1
1.0.4.pl00-1
0.8.0.pl00-2
0.8.0.pl00-1
0.7.6.pl00-2
0.7.6.pl00-1
0.7.4.pl01-1

But "pl01" looks weird. What does "pl" stand for?
