that's really not a good reason to disable them.
ddebs are stored in a separed archive (which means a separated pool and
a separate Packages file), which is not mirrored at all (yet, but we
don't plan to add many, and for sure we're not pushing mirrors to host
them). Also, they are not used by default by nothing, and for clients
to have them they need to add a line in /etc/apt/sources.list
