You should probably give Székelyi some time to reply to the WNPP bug;
someone else had a package ready in the past but he made it clear that
he wished to be the maintainer. If he doesn't want to work on this
package anymore (or if he doesn't reply for some time), you should
become the owner of #440835 and proceed with an RFS. You could also ask
him if he's interested in co-maintaining the package with you.

I don't think a DD would sponsor this package until this is sorted out.
