Dear mentors, I am looking for a sponsor for my package "libgetdata". * Package name : libgetdata Version : 0.7.3-6 Upstream Author : D. V. Wiebe <getdata-devel@lists.sourceforge.net> * URL : http://getdata.sourceforge.net/ * License : LGPL Section : libs This package provides the reference implementation of the Dirfile Standards, a database format for time-ordered binary data currently being used mostly in submillimeter astronomy. Bindings in a number of languages are included. Steven Benton <stevebenton@rogers.com> has been maintaining this package in an Ubuntu PPA for several months. I worked with him to make the package comply with Debian policy and we will co-maintain it going forward. This upload will make it possible to close bug #556990 (KST unable to read Dirfile data). It builds those binary packages: libf95getdata2 - library to read/write dirfile data - Fortran 95 bindings libfgetdata2 - library to read/write dirfile data - Fortran 77 bindings libgetdata++2 - library to read/write dirfile data - C++ bindings libgetdata-dev - library to read/write dirfile data - devel files (C, C++, F77, F9 libgetdata-tools - library to read/write dirfile data - extra tools libgetdata4 - library to read/write dirfile data python-pygetdata - library to read/write dirfile data - python bindings To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL: http://mentors.debian.net/package/libgetdata Please don't mind the lintian helper-templates-in-copyright messages, evidently lintian doesn't like the string "Upstream Author(s)". Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command: dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libg/libgetdata/libgetdata_0.7.3-6.dsc We would be delighted to find a sponsor to upload this package. Many thanks! ...Milligan
