RFS: shedskin

Dear mentors,

(Sorry for the repost, but I didn't get any replies to my last message, and
there's currently little more I can do of a technical nature without further
feedback.)

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "shedskin".

 * Package name    : shedskin
   Version         : 0.9-1
   Upstream Author : Mark Dufour <mark.dufour@gmail.com>
 * URL             : http://shedskin.googlecode.com/
 * License         : GPL-3+
   Section         : python

It builds those binary packages:

shedskin - Python-to-C++ compiler designed to speed up Python programs

To access further information about this package, please visit the following
URL:

  http://mentors.debian.net/package/shedskin

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x \
    http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/shedskin/shedskin_0.9-1.dsc

Previously, I discussed with the very helpful Julian Taylor the possibility of
team maintenance, rather than hosting the packaging repository myself, but
really I'm just looking for the next step towards getting the package
uploaded, whether that's joining the collab-maint project on Alioth and
cloning my Mercurial repository there, or whether I choose some other part of
the infrastructure instead.

In any case, any advice is welcome. I've tried to get the shedskin package as
policy-compliant as I can, and I'm just looking to move the process further
along. The upstream author is very enthusiastic about having his work
packaged by Debian, as it is already by Fedora, I believe, and this is my way
of contributing in some way to his project.

Kind regards,

Paul Boddie
