The upload would fix these bugs: 523411 My motivation for maintaining this package is: I've found it to be a very easy to use and flexible command line flag parser. Additionally, Google is starting to distribute other packages which can depend on gflags for additional functionality (Example: google-glog can be configured via environmental variables only without gflags. http://bugs.debian.org/555329).
