lal - dockable clock applet for various window managers
The package appears to be lintian clean.
My motivation for maintaining this package is: I've been playing with very light weight window managers for a long time now. The lightest obviously use no dock. However, the time is very important for me to stay on task. I found this little gem from an openbox guide. This clock can either sit inside a docked region (where it can grab the window managers theme) or just be hid down in the corner. I have used it a long time compiled myself but I decided it would be nice to let others pull it from the repositories instead of needing to compile it themselves. This also gave me the motivation to apply some fixes and create a man page which nagged me for a couple years now. I use this side by side with stalonetray and it feels better than having any dock. This clock format is extremely extensible, especially for it's small size. [hope this wasn't too long]
