The package looks fine at first glance. The only issue I found is this
in diff.gz:

--- pinot-0.82.orig/IndexSearch/Google/libSearchGoogle_la-GAPIC.loT
+++ pinot-0.82/IndexSearch/Google/libSearchGoogle_la-GAPIC.loT
@@ -0,0 +1,7 @@
+# libSearchGoogle_la-GAPIC.lo - a libtool object file
+# Generated by ltmain.sh - GNU libtool 1.5.24 (1.1220.2.456 2007/06/24
02:25:32)
+#
+# Please DO NOT delete this file!
+# It is necessary for linking the library.
+
+# Name of the PIC object.

pinot compiles just fine without this patch. Did this slip into diff.gz
unnoticed or did you add it deliberately?

Also, shouldn't pinot depend on (or at least recommend) dbus(-x11)?

Cheers,
Michael
