RFS: caudium (updated package)
Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for the new version 2:1.4.12-6
of my package "caudium".
Description: An extensible WWW server written in Pike
Caudium is a modern, fast and extensible WWW server derived from Roxen.
Caudium is by default compatible with Roxen 1.3 although some incompatible
options, mostly introduced to improve the performance, security etc. of the
server, can be turned on.
Caudium features built-in log parsing engine (UltraLog), XSLT parser, native
PHP4 support, Camas webmail (with separate package), multiple execution threads
and many more features - see http://caudium.net/ for more information.
Hilights from the changelog:
* New maintainer (Closes: #411675)
* Repacked caudium as architecture "all", thus caudium now uses
/usr/share/caudium as serverdir instead of
/usr/lib/caudium (Closes: #233331)
* New package translation Portuguese translation for debconf
messages, pt (Closes: #436553)
(I will also close 459931 after upload.)
To be clear I Intend To Adopt the packagage that right now is Orphaned.
I have a sponsor but now it seems he's not came back from vacation yet so
I hope that someone could consider helping me out?
The only thing I know of it to condense the debian versions before upload,
but I'm all ears for suggestions or corrections.
It builds these binary packages:
caudium - An extensible WWW server written in Pike
caudium-dev - Development files for Caudium
caudium-htpasswd - htpasswd from Caudium
caudium-modules - C modules for Caudium
caudium-perl - Perl script support for Caudium
caudium-pixsl - Pike XSLT module for Caudium
caudium-ultralog - Log Parser module for Caudium
The package appears to be lintian clean.
The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/c/caudium
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable main contrib non-free
- dget http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/c/caudium/caudium_1.4.12-6.dsc
I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.
Kind regards
Henrik Andreasson
