Well the common context was 'smart ascii' actually  :-)  AFAIK they are
"connected" only in the sense that they are both software of a class
that tries to take minimally marked up plain text and be able to export
that to other different formats.  I'm not aware that 'txt2tags' will
consume 'reST' format.
