Weired problem with apt-get -b source <package-name>

hi

i am trying to build pkg by using command
apt-get -b source <package-name>
the package builds fine but when i check the contents using

dpkg --contents .deb
it displays contents but the shared library and its symbolic link does not
exist

but if i do manually what apt-get -b ** does, the package contains the
shared library

i am using scratchbox to build the packages for arm target .
and my OS is Ubuntu Feisty 7.04
scratchbox version 1.0.7

bye
