RFS: imaxima-imath - emacs interface to Maxima
Hi! I just packaged imaxima-imath, which is an Emacs interface to Maxima but
it provides a more 'readable' output compared to the standard maxima-emacs
package. It uses LaTeX to create an image of the output and renders it inline
in the imaxima buffer, just like maxima-emacs.
This package also includes the imath minor mode which allows you to embed math
formulas in your text.

Some info about the package:

Description: An Emacs interface to Maxima
Imaxima.el provides support for interacting with the computer algebra system
Maxima in an Emacs buffer. Imaxima processes the output from Maxima with TeX
and inserts the resulting image in the buffer.
.
Imath mode is a minor mode for Emacs to aid you write a plain text with math
formulas embedded in the text. Formulas appeared in the text are rendered
based on the Imaxima's ability to translate Maxima and LaTeX commands to
beautiful math formulas.
.
This package includes imaxima and the imath minor mode.
Deb source repository: deb-src http://proyekto.unpluggable.com/debian unstable/
It would be nice if this gets in Debian because imaxima helps users to enjoy
using Maxima better. imaxima-imath can be used in conjunction with
maxima-emacs.
Regards,
Jan
