MPD is used in many different ways. Changing the name of this executable
would cause major compatibility problems, not the least of which is the
fact that many sites run MPD as a regular user account, rather than as a
system-wide daemon. Also, the other MPD tools, such as mpdboot, depend
on the existance of mpd that therefore they would have to be rewritten.

I should also point out that the collision of a sound daemon and a
parallel processing library seems somewhat unlikely. I know this
probably doesn't matter, but still. :)
