Thank you very much for this one. I didn't have the whole groff
installed here, only the base files and, thus, that didn't include the
groff_char manpage. Thanks for all that pointed that out.

Since I'm packaging lame, which is supposed to run also on non-GNU
systems, I'll be using the latter.
