If you run autotools at build time, remove all the files they modify at clean time and all will be well. Examples: aalib, acpi, kobodeluxe, xaos, xemeraldia. This kind of thing is easy to spot if you make a habit of always running diffstat on your .diff.gz as part of the review process before upload. -- see shy jo
