Follow the instructions in (3) but use ITP instead of RTP in the subject. Read the new maintainers information (someone already pointed you there) and start packaging. Once you have problems with the packaging or if you think the package is OK, come back here. If you think the package is done, email this list with subject "RFS: extreme ftpd" (Request for sponsor) or similar with a pointer to the source (not just the binary package files) of the package you made and a description of what extreme ftpd does and what sets it apart from other ftp daemons.
