Hi.

I don't have much time right now, but wanted to comment none the less,
please excuse any comment which might sound harsh, they are not meant to be.

1) If you really seek a sponsor, you should have a debian package ready
to be checked, not just your source code.
2) The URL you posted returns an error 404, I assume you actually ment
   http://www.rosiello.net/extreme (without the e between x and t)
3) If you don't seek a sponsor, i.e. someone (a Debian Developer) who
uploads your package to the archive, but someone who does the Debian
packaging for you, you should create an RFP (request for package) bug
by sending an email to submit@bugs.debian.org with the subject
"RFP: Extreme FTPD" and the body:

   Package: wnpp
   Severity: wishlist

<some description of extreme ftpd, including URL to its webpage or
   ftp source>

4) If you want to do the packaging yourself, submit an ITP (intent to
package) bug to bugs.debian.org. Follow the instructions in (3) but
use ITP instead of RTP in the subject. Read the new maintainers
information (someone already pointed you there) and start packaging.
Once you have problems with the packaging or if you think the package
is OK, come back here. If you think the package is done, email this
list with subject "RFS: extreme ftpd" (Request for sponsor) or
similar with a pointer to the source (not just the binary package
files) of the package you made and a description of what extreme ftpd
does and what sets it apart from other ftp daemons.

Good luck,
Sven
