Re: RFS: fityk - general-purpose nonlinear curve fitting and data analysis

Thank you. I am interested in becoming a DD when I can find an advocate. I have been using Debian since 1995 and I have been maintaining a number of packages locally for the past 2 years. I found a sponsor for this package about 6 months ago after not having any luck with another package about 1 year ago. I have also take on responsibility for a couple of perl packages recently orphaned through the Debian Perl Group.

Hello All:

I am looking for an alternate sponsor for the fityk package. My current
sponsor has indicated that he does not have time to upload the latest
version (0.4.4). Currently this package (version 0.4.3p1) is in testing
with no bugs.

I could upload it.

What are your long term plans in relation to debian?
