Something you shold know:
In germany (yes, again) many debian-users are waiting for exactly this 
one libchipcard package, and within last three or four weeks many 
postings in debian-user-german were related to openhbci/gnucash/ 
libchipcard/aqmoney. _Many_ debian-users will get _much benefit from 
Thomas' work.
Its a quite sexy package, indeed.
