I think this is probably the correct behavior in this instance - I am
always torn when confronted with software that _won't_ let you do what
you want to, but if the point of this software is to make proper
packages for Debian, then it should balk at some things you might want
to do outside of Debian.  No sweat & no bugreport.  Just my innate
itchyness, I guess.  Thanks again.
