I fixed it (again) and made sure it's there this time.

Hmm. I just ran the process here again, and I get a .orig.tar.gz, but it
never creates any .tar.gz files. Just the diff.gz later. My final list
looks like this:
3dfile-0.1.9.1/
3dfile_0.1.9.1-1.diff.gz
3dfile_0.1.9.1-1.dsc
3dfile_0.1.9.1-1_i386.changes
3dfile_0.1.9.1-1_i386.deb
3dfile_0.1.9.1.orig.tar.gz
