Re: perl modules - building debs

I haven't looked at dh_make_perl. Back a long time ago I started
to work on a Debian-specific architecture file for ExtUtils, but
it was a bad time to be doing this (dh/debmaker were in flux and
there was no real perl policy yet.)

Whoever writes/maintains dh_make_perl may want to take a look
at what I did though to see if that tact might help improve
dh_make_perl. If so, see
http://mojo.calyx.net/~bri/projects/Debian/ExtUtils/
(you'll have to unpack the .deb there, but all the mods were
in perl so you don't need a .dsc/orig)

(P.S. BTW, someone changed something in unstable lately such that if you
take a module and build it with PREFIX=/usr/local, it ends up in
/usr/local/local. Not sure if I like this, or if that was a
forseen result.)
