I think they should go in /usr/X11R6/lib.  Check out our policy.

I *think* it is used to refer to a console editor.

We have an experimental distribution.  Just exchange 'unstable' with
'experimental' in the distribution line in the .changes file.

fakeroot should be a package of itself.  It's only available as
libc6 variant, it won't work with libc5.
