Both master and va should be able to provide both disk space and cpu
power to build such packages.  XFree86 is built on master most of the
time.  Since va is loaded by CVS you should build the package on master.

If you need different versions of packages for your packages please
contact Debian Administration <debian-admin@lists.debian.org>.  If
you don't receive an answer in a certain amount of time, please ask
again - politely.
