Just created the ITP.
Thanks for fixing it.
You might like to inspect my last commits before I uploaded to new.
Ok. Got it. Thanks for the links and detailed paths.

You have now two packages in new and should be prepared to do some
self-standing work (hopefully - if not you know where to ask). You
can pick whatever task you might like to do which can be bug fixing,
writing autopkgtests or other new packages.

Regarding bug fixing you can seek for targets on the general BTS
page of our team

     https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?maint=debian-med-packaging@lists.alioth.debian.org
or the Blends bugs pages
     https://blends.debian.org/med/bugs/

Packages in need for tests are listed here

     https://salsa.debian.org/med-team/community/helper-scripts/-/blob/master/debian-med-tests.txt

For new packaging targets I'm currently recommending

     https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tApLhVqxRZ2VOuMH_aPUgFENQJfbLlB_PFH_Ah_q7hM/edit?ts=5eb957ba#gid=543782716

Thanks for your nice work in the MoM project and have fun picking
new targets in our team

       Andreas.

Thanks for taking the time, for the patience and guidance.

MoM was helpful and very important for me to understand, in a practical way, more about the routines.

I will work on your suggestions and hopefully soon I will start contributing.

Thanks!

Best,

AndreiR
