Actually no, the issues in the bug report are different. The code
itself has not been fixed w.r.t. c++11 because the reported error
doesn't show up with c++03 and with c++11 #829604 is triggered first
(which surprises me somewhat , because obviously it was triggered for
those who reported the bug). 


I will file a wishlist bug against the package as a reminder that it
would be nice to be able to remove forcing the older C++ standard.
