Please describe your problem more verbosely. I think the package is OK
(after I got rid of all the dh-make templates).
Remarks:
1. In principle it is fine to have non-biology packages in Debian Med
maintenance. We have lots of those packages in the Debian Med VCS.
You can even ask for help on Debian Python list for those packages.
2. You can ask Python specific questions on Debian Python list.
However, if you do so make sure you get rid of boilerplates first -
they might be not as friendly about this kind of lazyness as it is
tolerated (and even fixed now) here.
