Regarding 4273pi bioinformatics education, you may be interested in the
upcoming packages we have for the "htslib", which will be the base of the next
versions of samtools and tabix, and which therefore should replace the
"libbam", that is used by a bunch of other packages.
Since the htslib is still in early development and since it has a test suite,
it is best timing to check it on ARM and report upstream the issues that you
would find.
For this, you can either use our draft Debian package, or the upsream sources
directly.
