You might like to ask seanius whether the doc is wrong about a backup
feature or whether it is incomplete in terms of describing what to do.
I think there is also a mailing list about dbconfig-common - its a long
time ago when I dealt with this.

I included him in the original email (and Olivier in his response). I will look for a dbconfig-common mailing list.
