The cycle is not present any more because you are able to remove
autodocktools without breaking your installation because it is only
recommended and mgltools-pmv does not depend from it any more. In
other words. If you install using
apt-get --no-install-recommends mgltools-pmv
autodocktools will not be installed. That's the basic idea: Have the
same functionality in most practical cases (where user are not using
--no-install-recommends) but avoid circular dependency which is broken
as explained in the bug report.
