This was not obvious at first view to the web site.

I'd call it rather inaccurate because GPLv2 fits DFSG and not really
wrong ... but it is fixed in SVN and will be updated after next cron run
which updates the pages.

Sure.  Anything which finally brings interesting medical software into
Debian is fine.  Just be verbose here on this list and we will comment
your steps.  It is always a good idea to commit code to the packaging
repository.  It's use is explained in the Debian Med policy[1].
